Hello Listers. I thought you'd like to know what GF Black says about WASON in his book 'Surnames of Scotland'. On page 803: "WASON, Wasson. From WATSON through a delicate sounding of 't'. John Cathcart Wason of Ayrshire. M.P. died in 1921."
