He started to give me information on the family but he is a bit short of breath these days and I had to put off the questions to a better time. He remembers the Gillespie man who lost the leg and the Andrew Kennedy that was mentioned by Andrew Gillespie was his uncle. He said the he was just missing a hand not the full arm, owned the shop/store at Annick Lodge and eventually bought the large house at Stanecastle, Girdle Toll which is now a hotel.
