When they arrived from Scotland they had 3 children, Robert, Elizabeth and Janet,our 2 times great grandparents had 7 more children after they had settled. However, Robert's mother was an Elizabeth Curlet,Not Susan Ann Mckie Macfarlane, it seems that Daniel had a bit of a fling with a house maid which did not go down too well in the parish church as Elizabeth Curlet was 25 and that would have made our 2 time great Grandfather only 19.
