My husband and I are making a trip this summer that will include 11 days this June. We are hoping to walk the areas, churches and graveyards for many of his ancestors and am hoping you can help me again. I am hoping you can tell me what church they were affiliated with. I don't have a real sense of even what churches were around then. We plan on staying in Edinbourgh and traveling to Kilmarnack, Irvine, and Ayr while we are there. Can you provide any other suggestions that would help me get to the right locations? Also, can you tell me where Loch Byres is located? Have you found any more info on Janet, John Osbourne's sister that you said you were descendent from? I can't tell from our thread if I ever sent you the Descendant info from my husband's ancestor John OSBORNE. Therefore, I tried to attach it to this e-mail but it is a PDF file and will not go.
