Greetings All!    Still looking for any information about JOHN DOUGLASS my 4G grandfather. I believe that he was born in Ayrshire (probably Colmonell area) in the 1760s or 1770s. There is a John Douglass in the 1797/98 Horse Tax list for West Garrieve (near New Cumnock), but no way of knowing if he is "mine". John married Jennet Mcmichael (born New Cumnock 1782), but I have no marriage documentation. The family lived/worked at Bougang Farm near Colmonell for many years. John died in Colmonell in 1839. This date is from an MI erected by his son, Robert, located in the Colmonell kirkyard. Thanks for your help.    Larry Douglas
