I have seen this week on out Australian TV News that County Antrim and Arran have had heavy snow falls. So I assume that Ayrshire has also got a “good” drop of snow as well? Mike Boyd Brisbane, Aust.

No Mike most of Ayrshire is fine. Ayr has had a few snow flurries but none of it has stayed on the ground. It's been very cold though. Arran has been very bad. It's pretty to look at through my window but not so nice for the folk living there without any power.
