I have my own professional research website (Kinhelp), but now restrict my work to the occasional interesting task. I have been writing a couple of SF novels, which has taken up a lot of my spare time. I have not researched Andrew Dalrymple, so I cannot say much about him without doing so, but his name appears in some of the Ayshire sasines, and also in the Register of the Great Seal of Scotland, and in the Register of the Privy Council of Scotland. He doesn't appear in the major Scottish biographical dictionaries, so he wasn't a major "player" - notaries seldom were!
