The only Titwood I find in the 1851 Ayrshire census is a 110 acre farm in Dunlop parish that is being farmed by John Ross and family. On the NLS historic overlay OS map (http://maps.nls.uk/os/6inch/index.html) it is NE of Dunlop House.
