I have still got no further in my progress for information on my Wylie branch.... many possibilities, but nothing concrete. So I tend to wander off & come back in hope. Interesting, You mentioned Mary Gemmill & Alex Wylie being married. My Mary Wylie married Matthew MAIR, in his line, his g/grandfather's brother Thomas Gebbie MAIR, married Margaret GEMMILL. So many intertwining names. One day, that little piece of this big wonderful jigsaw will come into light, so I can build on our elusive Wylie line :) Happy Hunting Paula Krueger.     3. Hi I have Alexander Wyllie from Stewarton, a bonnett manufacturer born there 1792 father James mother Helen Gemmell, he marr Agnes Riddell. There are also Alexanders in previous generations of this family. Alex and Agnes are my gg grandparents.
