Marilyn You will need to contact the Local Studies library at the Burns Centre in Kilmarnock - for East Ayrshire Council - and the one for the North Ayrshire Council to see if they can't give you the Glen/Glenn families from George Robinson books of 1820's and James Paterson's books of the 1850 & 1860's. Both have family estates by Parish that will give you a outline of these Glen families in Ayrshire.
