I am descended from James Aird jr (b.1835), he was my 3rd great grandfather and his son Thomas is my 2nd great grandfather, Thomas had a few children as before him and one of his daughters, Jessie, was my great grandmother whomo I also met several times as a child. So very nice to see such a very huge, spread out family. I am sure my grandmother has photos of Thomas, not sure about James, but it would be interesting to see.
