I am so excited to hear from you. I grew up in Oglesby, IL, where Robert and Katherine settled. They were my gg grandparents. I am descended from Mary Jamieson Pryde, Katherine's first daughter. Since Mary was born two years before Robert and Katherine were married, our branch of the family might not be related to Robert. My aunts were quite surprised when I shared that bit of news!
