Hi, I have lots of those names in my trees however I would have to look at your dates. I have discovered that while we all (those who live away from Scotland - including me only in England) use a particular census to verify our family histories that a census my distant cousin (who lives in Kilmarnock) may find - say at the Dick Institute or the Burns Centre is not always compatible with the same census I find on-line. Now, I have no clue as to why this is but I've come across it time and time again. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this problem?
