I have used other trees when they are reliable. I am careful although there could be mistakes. I have gone pretty broad with the tree with Alexander Eccles and Marion McIlmorow having 437 descendants on the tree. It is difficult to find more current family because of the reasonable privacy factors around records. I would say its a basic sort of tree. You do not have to join Geni to view the tree, you do however need to be invited to join by being added to the tree, which means your line. You do not have to provide any details other than an email address for the invite. All living people are listed as private. I'm on Geni as my Grandfather was Estonian and we have thousands of Estonian relatives on Geni. He married Mary Eccles in Australia. Our tree connects to our Estonian, Scottish and Australian history. A number of Eccles emigrated to Australia at various stages, mainly to the east coast while we are on the west. regards Annette Collins Perth West Aust.
