I am continuing I found this inscription somewhere in surfing the Internet. Can anyone tell me how I could actually find out if there is a monument with this inscription. "This stone was erected by Robert Wallace a Farmer in Orchard for his spouse Mary 1797" I believe this is my Robert. I have found 3 marraiges in Ayrshire 1. In Dunlop 1761 2. In Sorn in 1766 3. In Ardrossan 1769 There was an earlier one in 1706 in Dundonald but I think seeing his illegitimate daughter was born in 1793 that counts him out. So now I would like to know where I can find out about this stone, Where would it have been erected?
