Carol "Usually" in Scotland when a location is give - such as "Wynd" or "Orchard" - would be an Estate or farm. I know of an Orchard Estate at West Kilbride, but I suspect that is not your area. You may need to look at some of the map sites for the Galston area in East Ayrshire or the area further south towards Ayr town. If I recall, Adamson Family had an estate in the Monkton area where Prestwick Airport is now. So what do you know about Agnes Adamson and her parents - especially social status, occupation, etc Do you know why she was called Sara Wallace, when he mother Agnes Adamson was not married to Robert Wallace?
