So yes, the family tailoring trade stretched back at least to Thomas. Thomas & Agnes had at least 7 children, including James McCosh b <1838>, who also became a tailor. James McCosh married Agnes Wilson in Tarbolton on 16 Nov 1860. Hunter McCosh (born 28 Oct 1874) was their son. Hunter's siblings included Agnes, b 17 Mar 1861, Thomas b 10 Aug 1862, Alexander Wilson b 18 Mar 1865, James b 6 Feb 1867, Janet b 7 Jan 1869, Robert Clark b 18 Jan 1871 and William Humphrey b 27 Jan 1873 - all in Tarbolton. You would know better than I do, how many of them emigrated. Hope all this accords with the facts as you have them. Best regards, John Humphrey in Toronto, Canada (humphreyjohn@rogers.com) Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
