Barbara McAulay was my g.g.grandfather Alexander McAulay's sister. Some time ago I printed a copy of the 1881 census of Kilmory, Bute and finding a John McCauly age 63yrs and thinking maybe he was also a brother, he was living there as a lodger with the McNeish family.
