Unfortunately I did not have the same luck on the 1871 census except what you had found. I did locate Elizabeth 1866 on the 1881 census do you have this? Using the soundex search on Scotlands People there is one William Currie death between 1861-1871 Ayrshire, my credits have expired so couldn't look. Their daughter Elizabeth was born in 1866 in Newton Ayr. I have not been able to find her in the 1871 census but thought I have located her mother living in St. Quivox with several sons.
