Family names are Price, Jackson, Fleming, McMeekin, McKay, Mitchell, Jackson, Rolinson/Rollison, Yates, Hancock, Hunt, Jones, Burley, Chynoweth, Phillips. Some of these families were iron miners from the Black Country, others copper miners from Cornwall and they brought their extended families with them.
