Hello: My 4x g grandmother came from the Isle of Arran mid 1700's - was that part of Ayrshire or Buteshire? I believe it is Buteshire now. Her name was McCallum, but have no idea where on Arran she came from, as marriage only lists Isle of Arran. Thank you for any replies.
