I'm answering a post you put up, asking if any people had these certain names in their family...Hyslop, Thorton, McBride and McClure from Ayrshire..... Well, I have 2 of the 4, Hyslop and McClure.....from Ayrshire. My Grandmothers Father was John Hyslop born 1838,in Kirkmichael, Ayrshire. His wife was Catherine McClure born 1837, in Maybole Ayrshire. They married in May 27-1859 in Kirkmichael, Ayrshire. They lived at house #15 in the Village of Wallacetown, Ayrshire.
