She was probably born about 1765 and I have no idea how to discover more about her. Alexander was already 63 and I believe, a widower so she may well have been married before too. They had two children - John Dunbar born 1804 aand Margaret in 1809. I don't suppose this is any help unless we manage to draw more Grays in. Was Gray one of the names that had been taken on when highland names were dangersous after the '45 - and if so - what was the precursor of Gray? Does anyone know?
