I posted this so long ago now I'd forgotten all about it. I'm not certain but I think we may be related somewhere along the line. My great grandparents were Robert Conkie and Agnes Jardine and I've got quite a lot of information about the Conkie family. Are you by any chance in Australia? A few years ago I got in contact with a distant cousin in Australia and she gave me details of the Conkies who had emigrated to Australia and their families and I wondered if you were connected to them. I'm based in Dumbarton Scotland all of my Conkie family are either from the Dumbarton area or Rutherglen Lanarkshire.
