I am one the direct descendents of John Blue and have seen that line. My grandfather was Francis Ritchie Blue, son of John Blue. As you know, the Wilsons and Ritchies are all interconnected in West Kilbride, and also in NZ (and now in the US - see below). Where do you live? I live in Wellington, NZ and now that our parents have passed on a group of us are piecing together the puzzle of the family tree. I have made contact wih a guy in the US, John Walsh Blue, 66 years, who is also our relation (no email - but lives in Massachusets) He was doing genealogy 35 years ago when it was all by post. His great great grandfather was Hugh Blue, brother of Daniel Blue. Hugh Blue married Elizabeth Hannah Wilson, a SISTER to Janet Wilson [so we are doubly connected and related]. They had Robert Wilson Blue who went to USA in 1863, the same year as John Blue came to NZ. Robert Wilson Blue is his grandfather. Please email me and I can give further contact detail! s.
