There were two McCormick families having children, either of which might have been Jane's parents (posting says Jane was born in Troon circa 1901). The Herald points to one of these families moving to New York, viz: McCormack Thomas 16 12 1966 Woodside, New York. D 92yrs. born in Troon, husband of Catherine Daniel, father of Elizabeth, George, Thomas, Cathy McCormack & Anne Breslin, grandchilden & great granchildren You say you found a birth on Scottish people for Francis Beattie.
