My Grandfather Bryce Miller and his brother William farmed Titwood and Hillhead. Bryce Miller moved to Quothquan in Lanarkshire in 1913. I can remember my Grandmother having a friend, Mrs Montgomerie, who used to come and stay. I guess it was the same family. They always addressed each other as Mrs Montgomerie or Mrs Miller.
