Irene You should contact your local Federal MP for the Canadian Parliament about this. My understanding form Australia is that if you write it it is your copyright. Ancestry have not bought it form you. It may also be worth trying to contact in Ottawa the Canadian Copyright Office. I know that over the last year or so, there are a number of Ancestry queries about Boyds in Ayrshire that I would have lived to have exchanged correspondence with, so I can help them but I can't reply to them directly. I an not sure if American Members of this list may need to contact their local Federal Congressman about this issue as well.
