It's my husband who's a Wallace. James Wallace born abt 1750 married Mary Train 1785 Mauchline Parish Ayrshire they had 11 children I've traced, Mungo Wallace b 6.6.1799 was No.7. Mungo married Jean McKnight 1826 Stair Parish Ayrshire and they has at least 9 children. You are descended from Mary(1838) No.6 we are descended from John(abt 1840) No.7. (1871 census John is living with James Allan and Mary Wallace Crosshouse Kilmaurs Parish Ayrshire aged 30y) John married Margaret Kerr Aird 1873 Tarbolton Ayrshire they had 5 children. We are descended from their eldest John b.1874 Kilmaurs Parish. This John married Catherine Campbell Ramsey Coubrough 1903 Balantyre Lanarkshire they had three sons Robert the 2nd son was my husbands father. I have Mungo Allan and Grace Steel deaths both in Keilty Fife, have 3 children for them James. Margaret and Gabriel. Did they have anymore? any info on James or Gabriel?
