Hello, Ayrshire researchers: After posting my earlier message about not being able to respond to a message at Ancestry, I have made a discovery. As I said in my earlier posting, if you get an e-mail from the Message Board Administration Team and follow the link provided, if you aren't a member of Ancestry you are unable to reply to the posting. HOWEVER, once the message is gatewayed to AYRSHIRE-L by way of the gc-gateway@rootsweb.com, it appears it is then possible to follow the link in that message and post a reply. I do not understand why this should be the case, but it works! Irene in B.C.
