In the birth notice of an Robert Boyd in Irvine in 1688 his father is given as:- "Robert Boyd, Corchan." I am assuming this is an "Estate" but have no idea where this may be located. Can anyone give me any suggetions Thank you. Mike Boyd Brisbane
