Hi Eleanor, One of my sets of x4 gt.gparents is Charles EDGAR, and Annable NICOL who marry 10 Feb 1761 in Dailly. Several variant spellings for Annable including Anaple. Charles and Annable have 7 children and their daughter Annaple EDGAR marries Matthew CARNOCHAN abt 1792 and they have 6 children: Charles 29 May 1793, Janet 14 Oct 1794, Annaple 7 Jun 1796, Marion 30 Nov 1797, Margaret 9 Nov 1799, and David 10 Aug 1801. I have information on three of the children of Matthew CARNOCHAN and Annaple EDGAR: Janet CARNOCHAN m. Robert NIMMO 14 Apr 1822, and they have 7 children. Marion CARNOCHAN m. William CROSBIE 12 Feb 1820, and they have 8 children. Margaret CARNOCHAN m. Thomas MEREDITH abt 1825, and they have 7 children. Born 1768 in Kirkoswald, Mathew CARNOCHAN'S father is David CARNOCHAN.
