Hi all, William Wyllie and Mary Steel were married in 1726. They lived at Amlaird, Fenwick, and may have had connections to Gree/Grieve. William Wyllie died 1775, listed as "an elder of this parish" I have reason to believe that they are my ancestors via their son James (b. 1730, married Jean Bicket in 1766) and James' son William (b. 1767, possibly/probably the William Wyllie who married Jean Borland at Fenwick in 1802) James Wyllie's wife Jean Bicket died in 1769, I've not been able to find if he remarried and had additional children. I'm interested in finding additional information on the family of Wm. Wyllie and Mary Steel. The IGI does list some additional children for them. All the best, Ken Cuthbertson
