Is there a census for Scotland in 1831 or 1841? I'm looking for Hugh Cuthbertson, his wife Mary (born McCandlish) and their children (Thomas 1822, Margaret 1831, Ann 1836, James E. 1841, and Andrew 1842). I'm not sure where they were exactly in 1831 and 1841 but probably in Ayrshire (perhaps in Klymorme or some similar spelling). Hugh must have died before 1848 because he was not on the ship Tamerlane/Tamberlane with his family which left Glasgow and arrived in Boston in 1848. I'm trying to find out where the family was living in 1831 and 1841 and if Hugh was still alive in 1841. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cecilia
