Does anyone have access to the passenger lists for ships leaving Glasgow, Scotland and arriving in Boston, Massachusetts, USA in 1848? I'm looking for the following family: Thomas MCANDLISH and his wife Jennett/Jannett. They would have had at least 2 children with them: Mary and Thomas. It's possible they were all on the Tamerlane/Tamberlane. And it's possible they were traveling with relatives named McCandlish, Goudie or Kirk.
