A  Robert JAMIE  had  his  house  labelled  in  1787  sketchmap  of  Catrine. Catrine  M.I.  lists a Robert  JAMIE  Catrine  bleaching  works  27  July  1862. Shortly  after  inception  1837, the  United  Secession (  later  U. P.) church  appointed  a  Robert  JAMIE  as  precentor. Presumably  these  Roberts  are  one  and the  same,  but  does  anyone  know  if  he  had  descendants  or  who  his  ancestors  were?.......I  am  researching  the  name  in  Montrose  and  remembered  the  above  Robert....Heather
