To help find the family, here are their children, all born in Muirkirk: -John b. 1814 -Christian b. 1817 -Robert b. 1819 -Andrew b. 1822 -Alison b. 1824 -David b. 1827 -William b. 1829 -Thomas b. 1832 -Margaret Gibson b. 1834 Father Andrew died in Muirkirk in 1866 so I suspect he'll be in Muirkirk on all three censues.
