Agnes Parker Russell, born approx 1821 is the daughter of Alexander Hamilton Russell, Master Shoemaker of Halfway St. He was born approx 1788 in Irvine, Ayrshire, Scotland. Agnes married Andrew Arnot. Her mother was Margaret Murdoch, born approx 1793, also at Irvine. They married in October 21st 1815. I believe they left Scotland around 1848, but really don't know how, or where to or on what ship, or if indeed they really did leave. Alexander is said to have had two brothers who fought in the Napoleonic Wars. Can anyone please help with information about the Russell Family. I am also seeking information about the Murdochs and any family history about these families that can be found.
