According to the Ancestry link I gave, John who died in NZ is s/o James/Janet Lyon born 1836 Fenwick, but he's not the one i'm looking for. John who married Margaret Wallace died 1922 Islay, if the TribalPages link is correct (he was in Kilninian parish 1911 Census). I'm hoping someone on the Ayr list will recognise this John (and wife Margaret), and provide the necessary parental information. They also had a daughter Henrietta Carruthers Dunlop 1880-1911. Freecen gives two Johns below, and he's likely to be one of these (both to parents James/Janet). 1841.
