A few days ago I made an inquiry about this mill but mispelt as Craigie. I have now discovered there is a "Craig Mill" on Caaf Water near Dalry, which is some distance from Alloway. Apparently there is a water fall there known as "Lynns Spout" and there are the remains of a mill there. Is that what I am looking for? I have also learnt that "Dyesters" mills did in fact grind dye materials much like grain mills did. I have a lot to learn and would appreciate help. Murray NZ
