Thanks to John, Mike, Bobbie, Debotah and the Pools for their advice. British Newspaper Archives have the Ayr Advertiser and it would seem that Craig Mill is near Dalry on Caaf Water. Next trick will be to try and find out whether Thomas and/or son William owned the facility in the early 1700's. Any ideas where this info may be found? Murray Reid NZ
