Greetings Listers I have the following information, from the Dunlop PRs, regarding a couple of my ANDREW ancestors. Thomas Andrew in the parish of Dunlop, son lawful to Robert Andrew in Waterland and Agnes Smith, daughter lawful to Robert Smith in Easter Caldwell in this parish, deceased, gave in their names for Proclamation in order to Marriage July 28th having given 18 pence to ye poor which was held in ye Clerk's hand. Two places are mentioned - Waterland and Easter Caldwell, the latter of which seems definitely to be in Dunlop Parish. I've tried googling for these places, but to no avail. Can anyone tell me anything about either or both please?
