Does anybody have any information on a JANET CARSON who married WILLIAM McHUTCHAN? They had a son Gilbert McHutchan who went to the isle of Man in about 1730. My Gilbert McHutcheon went to the Isle of Man in about 1731 and am hoping this might be the same Gilbert. This is one of my brick walls. Marny

Hugh was a brother to Andrew Wylie. I have his siblings and a couple spouses but now searching for Alexander's parents and his wife Janet Clark's family.Andrew married Agnes Pollock in Church of Scotland in Stewarton. Andrew was a framer from Dunlop at time of wedding. I am trying to find ship when and where Andrew and Agnes Pollock I have her parents her mom Agnes Gilmour and siblings. I think they immigrated about 1840-1843 because they had one more son in Nova Scotia in 1843-1844. I have some Nova Scotia info. I'm reasonably sure they landed in Pictou or Halifax Nova Scotia. Alexander the dad was a miner and so was Andrew when he immigrated I'm again assuming to have been recruited as a miner.I'd love to share notes.
