Hi Listers, This Enumeration District is the most difficult I've ever tried to transcribe anywhere. Apparently this Enumerator didn't belie in ink, except for a few pages in the middle. Otherwise, it was difficult to impossible for me to see the information in many spots. If anyone has access to the films 1042404 or 0103655, I'd appreciate any ideas you might have. Thanks. Next, I'll send along the info I have. If it'd help anyone to have a formatted version of it, please request directly to me. Thanks Jim Bundy
Hi all, In 1802, Jean HAMILTON and John Mushet were married in Kilmarnock, date 29th August 1802. They had a son, James Wallace Mushet born 21 Aug 1804, noted as their first child (and the only one I've found). John was at this point a nailer. I have quite a bit on the Mushets, and John's parents were James Mushet and Janet Adam. However I have no clues as to who Jean Hamilton was. The name 'Wallace' may come from her side - there's no trace of it that I've found in John Mushet's family. Unfortunately the marriage record is not informative, saying only that 'John Mushet & Jean Hamilton both in this parish after proclamation were married'. There's a Jean Hamilton born in Irvine in 1782, various others scattered around - if anybody has any information on any Jean Hamiltons of the right era, please let me know as I may be able to rule some out... Any clues welcome! Jenny

Wm David Donald was born to Robert Donald and Margaret McCulloch in Ayr in 1896. From military records, I have discovered that in 1929, he was living at 226, Prestwick Road, Ayr, and was a chauffeur. He was probably known as David. A quick search of Scotland's People fails to reveal marriage or death. Does anyone have any information on this family? Alastair Donald

They came to Minnesota in 1880 (after the 1880 census) She is not listed in the 1895 Minnesota census so , if she did exists, she had to have been born before 1877. as my aunt says she went back to Scotland when she was around 18. That she ended up married to a Leggett (Leggate) and died in England during the WW !!Blitz..............HELP!!
