    3. Scotlandspeople is so easy to use - you really should give it a go, as you could find out so much more than from Ancestry. You can see the original registration record rather than a transcript that leaves out an awful lot of information, such as marriage witnesses. I really would encourage you to take a look at it - for a very reasonable charge you can find out so much! 3. Could someone who is on Ancestry, tell Allan and Lauren that at the Local Studies section of the Carneigie Library in Ayr (town) should have books on this cemetery, which was do in the 1980's. From the one that I saw in the North Ayrshire Library, they had a map of the graves locations. 3. My 3xgt grandmother was Elizabeth Logan born about 1795 in Straiton, Ayrshire. I believe her to be the daughter of John Logan & Elizabeth Kerr, with siblings John, William, Mary and another name I do not know. Elizabeth married Robert Craigie born about 1800 in Rutherglen. They married in Hamilton in 1825 and in 1838 came to Australia on board the "William Roger" which was quarantined at North Head in Sydney because of Typhus on board. Elizabeth died there leaving 4 young children. I would like to trace her family in Scotland if possible. Anyone else sharing this line I would be happy to exchange details. June
