I don't seem to have yours but for the record, the one who comes closet is James Dunlop b. 1811 (Farmer of Highfield) who married Janet Lyon b.1815. They were married in Fenwick on June 6, 1835 and I believe they had the following children: John 1836 James 1838 William Turnbull 1842 Agnes 1843 Hugh 1845 Janet Lyon 1850 Anne 1852 David 1854 I'd appreciate any corrections or additions in regard to this family. Your James and the above James b. 1811 may have been cousins? The above James was the son of John Dunlop b. Mauchline (farmer of Drumboy, Fenwick) and Janet Paton born in Kilmaurs. I also have an Annie Bell Dunlop with the ABT. birth year of 1851 who was the daughter of John Dunlop and Margaret Wilson Gibson. Annie Bell's husband was William Henry Ferguson. For their children, I also have a James chr 2nd June 1833 Talbolton ( which would fit with #5 Mary). My Anne also went by Anabella and Annie later in life. She came out to Australia and was married twice. The first time to Alfred Edward Arnold in Queensland and then to Hubert Davis in NSW. She dies in 13 March 1909 in a psychiatric hospital. Margaret Gemmill (1792-1857), b Riccarton, Ayr was the sister of my GGF James Gemmill (1786-1857) who lived his life in Kilmarnock. She was buried in Kilmaurs Burying Ground. She was married to Thomas Andrew (no Information) and they had no children. The Informant on her death record, however,was her NEPHEW William Wylie, but I have no other information on him either. Somehow, as you say, the Gemmills and the Wylies lived near each other and were interconnected by marriage. The parents of both my GGF and his sister Margaret Gemmill were named John Gemmel and Jean (Jane) Richmond who married in Fenwick, Ayr, 2 Dec 1785.
