(He was from Quebec.) I have his Ayotte ancestry back to the early 1600's, and a little about his life. He moved to Vermont in the 1840's with his family and my great grandfather, Alexander Peter Ayotte, who was a young boy. Peter eventually moved to MN, and Alex stayed in VT. I think I even have info on Russell. I will be glad to send you whatever data you would like. I would be interested in the gravestone picture.
