My grandfather was Nurceis Iotte whose father was Freeman (Fierman) Iotte, a Hudson's Bay trapper (middleman) who married Louisa Agneis Bilum. I have searched endlessly for his parents but never found them. Nurceis had three wives, 1) Maybell or Mabel Ethel Hunter, md. 28 Sep 1987, 2) Emma Armstrong Conkle, md. 30 Oct 1915, 3) Emma Nyberg Ostrom, md. 6 Jan 1937.k Mabel divorced Nurceis who at some point sent my father Clarence Leslie Iotte (preferred Eugene for middle name) to live with Mabel in Portland, Oregon and who married a fireman with the Brooks surname by which my father was known and I was born with. Let me know what other information you need and will gladly share what I have with you. I do have copies of some vital statistics for this line.
