Honore/Henry is born abt 1822 in Canada. If he is brother of Sefroy Iott son of Joseph Huott who married Joachine Cotte in Missouri in 1812, siring Sefrey abt 1815 (as other researchers indicate) then he must have visited/returned to Canada w/ his wife (or lost her and remarried) to have Honore/Henry in Canada ca 1822. He had several children by his native American wife (daughter of Chief War Eagle) with the truly delightful name Marie Snayankdiwankewin - Mary "Lies Down All-a-Jingle." One child, who passed as full blood European, was Henry Ayotte (b 1847) who married Delphine Tibeau (b. Canada 1856) Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
