Hello, cousins. I have just discovered what, I hope, may lead to a breakthrough: My great granduncle, Boise Avery b. 1862 Toronto, CA, has the same given name as many Boises who live next to many Averys in Olive, Ulster, NY ca. 1830. I see no such juxtapos. of Boises/Averys, and I have checked this out to the hilt. Does anyoen have any info on these two families at this time and place? The Boices are: Isaac M.; Jacob; John; Matthew; Peter and Samuel. The Averys are Andrew; Isaac and Moses. There is also an Obadiah Avery in Ulster Co. at the same time, but he is quite a distance away from the others. Later, Averys and Boices are also near one another in MI (ca. 1850's) very near Huron County MI, where my great grandparents, Enos Avery and Clara Brade were married in 1888.
